Kai consults both public and private patients in the Tom Reeve Academic Surgical Clinic at The Kolling Institute on the North Shore Hospital campus site. The Tom Reeve Academic Surgical Clinic is a collaborative initiative between the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), the University of Sydney and the Royal North Shore SERT Institute.

St Leonards train station is only a short walk away, roughly taking 5-10 minutes walk. Alternatively, bus route 114 stops directly at the Royal North Shore/North Shore Private Hospital campus.
On street paid parking is available, as is parking in The North Shore Health Hub which is directly opposite the Kolling Building.
